Ecological regional buildings
Offices situated in regional cities also aspire to obtain green certificates. The example is SkyRes Warszawska. The office in Rzeszów was awarded LEED at the Gold level. The building is managed by the intelligent and modern BMS system. Modern technologies which were applied in the building make that it is an energy-saving structure, which allows to limit energy and water consumption. These technological solutions are additionally constantly monitored. Moreover, SkyRes Warszawska has a heating and cooling system with heat recovery. The building provides optimal work environment through proper natural lighting and comfortable aerification and humidifying. Energy-saving glazing of the building provides with an opportunity of natural ventilation of rooms. The investor presented great care about the environment at the very early stage of construction by applying pro-ecological materials and constant sorting of waste. DevelopRes, that is the investor of the building, promotes ecological mode of life among employees. The company encourages employees to replace cars with bicycles by offering them special changing rooms and showers.
The buildings mentioned above are only some of many offices which can boost about green certificates. We are going to present other examples of such buildings soon. Nowadays, there is an increasing popularity of multicriterial certificates in Poland as well as in number of granted certificates. The construction sector belongs to the group of the main issuers of CO2 and sustainable construction is a way for limiting the emission.
