Infosys BPO Poland begins recruitment of 200 additional employees in Łódź.

Infosys BPO Poland, the leader in the sector of modern business service in Poland, has begun cooperation with AkzoNobel, an international manufacturer of paint, coatings and specialty chemicals. The aim of this cooperation is to consolidate and transform financial and accounting processes. The contract in question is going to increase, over the next 12 months, the staff of Infosys by 200.

AkzoNobel operates in over 80 countries and employs over 50 000 people. The company’s portfolio includes such brands as Dulux, Nobiles, Hammerite, Sadolin and Sikkens.

The project is going to be conducted in cooperation with Infosys centres in India. The Infosys team will be responsible for implementation of modern solutions increasing the efficiency and optimizing financial and accounting processes of AkzoNobel. Thereby Infosys will expand its staff by 200 new employees. – says Krystian Bestry, Managing Director of Infosys BPO EMEA. 

Who Infosys is looking for? The most important are specialists in the field of finances, accounting, financial analysis and project management. Advanced knowledge of foreign languages, such as Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Italian or Swedish, are of a vital importance.

The plans to hire 200 additional employees are a yet another news during last two months regarding expansion of the Indian company’s division in Łódź. In August 2013, Infosys released an announcement about recruitment of 200 people, which was conducted in order to expand the centre in Łódź. Currently the company employs 1,700 professionals, which makes this unit the largest unit outside India.
