A glazed office building at Lazarza

The Lazarz housing estate is changing its image. The historic buildings are going to step aside the modern investments – informs “Gazeta Wyborcza”. The project stipulates construction of office buildings and a modern hotel, which will be built in the place of the historic, pink villa that was demolished in the recent days.

The owner of the area – Giant – has been planning investment in Lazarz for few years now, however there were problems with acquiring necessary permits. This is because the housing estate in question is located in the area under historic preservation. The first works, within intersection of Gorki St and Glogowska St, are going to begin in the fall. At that moment, there will be implemented the project of an 8-storey office building – Projekt Giant Office.

Willson Office Park, a glazed office building, is the next investment of GTC for which the company still do not have permission. The design was prepared by APA Kurylowicz & Associates. The investment will consist of two buildings – their height will be between 3 and 6 storeys. The office building will have 12 500 sq. m. of the total surface. Buildings will be erected in the vicinity of Wilson park and as other APA’s projects, they have a chance to become icons of Polish architecture.
