A main headquarters of one of the biggest telecommunication operators functioning on the Polish market – Polkomtel – was sold. BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, which is the exclusive agent of the company from the Elektrim Group, represented the client in the sales process of Multimedialny Dom Plusa. A new owner of the structure is W.P. Carey – a real estate REIT fund which specializes in sale and leaseback for commercial clients as well as projects of financing based on the “build-to-suit” principle. This transaction is culmination of multidimensional process that has been led by Department of Capital Markets BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland. Except for standard consulting services in the process of searching for a purchaser and negotiations of conditions of disposal, we delivered an important element such as consulting in the capital structuring process of the transaction – says Mateusz Skubiszewski, chairman, Capital Markets, CEE, BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
Multimedialny Dom Plusa was completed this year. Works at realization of this investment lasted only two years and SPS Construction was responsible for their performance. The architectural project of the building was devised in the Kuryłowicz & Associates studio. The building is a six-floor structure class A. It offers 23 000 sq. m of lease area, which is totally intended for needs of the mobile operator. The structure is located at Konstruktorska 4 Street in the Warsaw Mokotów district.
